Come By and See Us!
We Have Made Many Changes, and Added Benefits

If you have not been by the Club in the past few months, please come by and check out the many improvements we have made. We have new comfortable chairs in our upstairs meeting room; the exterior of the building has been repainted; we have added more benches outside for you to enjoy while waiting on a meeting; the downstairs portion of the Alano Club has been repainted, we have replaced some of the windows; and a beautiful new floor has been installed. We think it makes the Club a much more desirable place to visit and attend meetings. Please come and check it out.

New PB Misfit Men's Book Study Meeting
Downstairs Meeting Room
Wednesday Nights at 6:00 pm

Every Friday
The Gong Show, 6:00 pm

Demonstrating the lighter side of sobriety for more than 20 years, The Gong Show is a San Diego favorite no matter what stage of sobriety you're in. A light-hearted rendition of Chapter 5, gonging inappropriate and long-winded speakers, and laughter are just a few of the perks you'll enjoy while attending. The Gong Show never ceases to deliver the message of sobriety through a fun and well-spirited medium. Come enjoy. TGIF!

Every Saturday
North Shores Speakers Meeting, 7:30 pm

Join us every Saturday at 7:30 pm for the North Shores Speakers meeting. Each week the meeting secretary brings two very sober public speakers from all over the country to share their stories about life with alcoholism. The warm-up speaker has the floor for the first ten minutes and is followed by a forty minute speaker, although times may be adjusted. The North Shores Speakers meeting always brings out bittersweet moments but always carries hope to alcoholics both inside and outside of recovery.

Miscellaneous Happenings Around the Club
Find Out Here First!

There are two Women's meetings held at the North Shores Alano Club each week. The Tuesday 6:00pm meeting is an open discussion meeting, and is a good meeting to attend if you are seeking a sponsor. It is held downstairs in the smaller, more intimate meeting room.

The Friday 12:30pm Women's meeting is also held downstairs. It is a "Step Study" meeting, and features ladies with lots of solid sobriety. Due to the enthusiasm of the ladies, it often runs more than an hour. So do not be in a hurry to leave this one!

There is a Closed mixed meeting on Monday at 10:00am for those over 50 years of age. It also features many years of sobriety, although anyone of any age is welcome to attend. The meeting is not over until everyone who wishes to share, has had a chance to do so.

-- Private Membership Information --

As an active advocate of Alcoholics Anonymous the North Shores Alano Club is charged with the priviledge of hosting over 35 meetings each week, welcoming guests from all walks of life and stages of recovery. As the Club's sole purpose remains to strengthen the sobriety of all alcoholics, your support is requested in an effort to give back and help the newcomer who still suffers.

Although the Club is welcome to all who are in recovery and their guests, private members enjoy benefits such as: Free Wi-Fi Internet Access, Lounge Area with Cable TV and Movies, Big Book Studies, Game Rooms, Piano, Special Events and the opportunity to meet new friends in sobriety. If you find yourself frequenting the club often, and would like the opportunity to make your voice heard concerning club decisions and give a little back, then a paid membership would be the way to go!

Dues for single individuals cost $15.00/month or $165/year, receiving one month free. Married couples can take advantage of our $22.00/month or $242/year option.
